The Social domain provides granular data on population wellbeing, education enrollment, health outcomes, poverty rates, and social mobility across Lebanon's nine governorates. Data is collected through household surveys, administrative records, and partnerships with leading development organizations operating in Lebanon.

Methodology

Primary data comes from UNDP Lebanon household surveys, Ministry of Education enrollment records, Ministry of Public Health facility data, and the World Food Programme vulnerability assessments. Berix standardizes all indicators to a common framework enabling cross-regional and cross-year comparison. Poverty metrics use the World Bank $3.65/day threshold adjusted for Lebanon's purchasing power.
