Bureau Berix was founded in 2023 by a team of Lebanese economists, data scientists, and researchers who had spent years working with international organizations and repeatedly hit the same wall: there was no reliable, structured source of Lebanese data.
The 2019 financial crisis made the consequences of this information void catastrophic. Banks collapsed without adequate risk data. NGOs designed programs without demographic baselines. Entrepreneurs raised money on guesswork. Policymakers legislated in the dark.
We decided to build what Lebanon was missing. Not a think tank, not a consultancy — a data company. Rigorous, structured, commercially viable, and built to last.
Today, Bureau Berix is the country's only dedicated provider of structured data intelligence across nine critical domains, serving banks, NGOs, businesses, and international organizations operating in Lebanon.
